The University College at Bath/Brunswick center, located in the Midcoast Center for Higher Education, is one of ten centers around Maine where people can take courses, pursue degrees, and receive all the support they need to earn a degree close to home and on schedules that fit into their family and work lives.

Courses are taught by faculty on-site, online, via interactive television or two-way videoconferencing. People interested
in becoming certified as Special Education teachers in Maine are invited to view a videostream of an information session outlining the new UMA/UMM Special Education Certification Program.

The program features Heather Ball, Special Education Program Coordinator at the University of Maine at Machias. Ball discusses opportunities for Special Education certification made available by UMM in collaboration with University College and the University of Maine at Augusta.
